Our Workroom
Those beautiful custom rugs don't appear by magic!
It takes an artist's eye, lots of know-how, and old-fashioned hard work, as you can see below.
First, we lay out the pattern so it can be drawn evenly.
Then we inset the many different color pieces and do the carving.
Voilà! The beautiful finished rug.

Our custom sisal carpets are hand-painted (right) to the customer's specifications.

Hand Sewn Tapestry and Fabric Borders.Here at Rug Rats we hand sew all fabrics and tapestries to rug edges. We also hand sew the corner miters with a hidden whip stitch. This gives the finished rug a more tailored look! |
